This being are you a positive only trainer or do you use corrections on dogs, generally called positive punishment. I am not a positive only trainer but certainly focus on using as much positive reinforcement as possible. Reprimanding a dog is not something any trainer enjoys, but there may be times where dogs need to be corrected for aggressive or undesirable behaviour. I would consider myself a balanced trainer who adapts to every individual dog according to temperament.
Yes all dogs have to be assessed, this gives us a chance to check your dogs temperament to be with other dogs and gives you a chance to see our facility and have a policies and more explained to you.
